Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It has been proven that when you know what is normal for you, when you know your body well, it helps to detect changes (lump, coloration, heat, …) or abnormalities that could be related to cancer. Also, when discovered early, cancer is often easier to treat.

Above you will find the candid testimony of our own Nancy, community connection worker and ray of sunshine, who talks about what she herself had to go through after her diagnosis of breast cancer in January 2020.

To change the future of breast cancer, fund research and a support network so that no one has to face breast cancer alone: https://cancer.ca/en/ways-to-give/breast-cancer-awareness-month
