Team Against Violence Against Women and Sexual Assault
The team working against violence against women and sexual assault is made up of French-speaking professionals who are there to listen to you and to help you.
They offer support services to those directly and indirectly affected by violence in any form related to sexual assault or between intimate partners, regardless of their sexual identity or orientation.
Through our services, our team provides a safe, confidential space to help women flourish personally, socially and economically. We also provide:
- Activities and support groups for women
- Personalized, confidential assistance services
- Community awareness and prevention activities

Who is it for? This program is open to all French-speaking women who are aged 16 or over and living in the Hamilton/Niagara region, regardless of their race, religion, origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or situation.
Eligibility: Any CSCHN department may refer a client to the program at any time, whether to take part in our various groups specifically for women and build a support network, to set up a personalized meeting or simply to access a system for sharing information and resources.
