Internships

The CSCHN aims to be the first port of call in Niagara and Hamilton for Francophone and bilingual professionals seeking to acquire new skills through an internship in a professional setting. At the CSCHN, interns have the opportunity to work under the supervision of qualified professionals who can offer guidance in a safe, motivating environment that is conducive to learning.

The CSCHN accepts internship applications from students in fields related to health care, social services and business administration, such as medicine, nursing, social work, nutrition, office administration, project management, etc.
Interns are considered an asset and contribute to the CSCHN by helping to expand the range of services available to its clients. This is why the CSCHN has frameworks in place to ensure that interns are welcomed and well integrated into our professional, multidisciplinary environment. Interns are also encouraged to explore the opportunities available to them according to their choice of career. On arrival, each intern receives a welcome pack, which includes general information about community resources available in the local area.
For more information about internships or to apply, please contact Kankou Camara at kankou.camara@cschn.ca or r-h@cschn.ca.

To help ensure a smooth onboarding process, we suggest that those interested submit an application at least 90 days before the anticipated starting date of their internship.
