Wind of change at the CSCHN

More than 200 families braved the wind on Saturday, December 11th to participate in a new event organized by the Hamilton and Welland teams of the CSCHN.

Surprises, magic glasses, hot chocolate, snacks and family games were offered to participants. Thank you to Mastermind St. Catharines for helping us with the purchase of the gifts and thank you to our friends at M.T. Bellies who donated certificates!

We wanted to offer our clients and residents of Niagara and Hamilton an opportunity to celebrate the holidays with us in a safe way. After 2 years of the pandemic, we were looking for something to do, something creative and fun. When the idea of a Drive-thru was presented to France, the new Executive Director of the Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara, she immediately agreed and so we embarked on the adventure, explains Myriam Quinn, Communications and Social Media Officer at the CSCHN.

We’re hoping that the 2022 Holiday Season at the CSCHN will be a 2.0 version and that Mother Nature will be more cooperative.

For those of you who were unable to attend due to the weather, we have sent you an email with details on how to pick up your surprises.

Santa says a big thank you to everyone who sent us pictures. (We were able to get them to him) 🎅

Be safe this holiday season and make good choices.
