The Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara believes that the Centre belongs to the people who use it – the people who use its services. The people who come to the Centre are not just clients, but also participants who have the right and the responsibility to participate in the planning and development of programs and policies that affect the Centre and its clientele.

Why become a member?

  • To have a say in the operation, management and control of the Centre’s services and activities.
  • To discuss the Centre’s programmes and services with other francophones,

When you become a member, you can:

  • Vote at the Annual General Meeting and elect members of the Board of Directors
  • Be elected to the Board of Directors
  • Participate in committees and bring new ideas to the CSCHN.

What do you need to become a member?

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be French-speaking
  • Be a resident of Hamilton (including Burlington and Brantford), Niagara, Haldimand-Brant for at least 3 continuous months.
  • Not be gainfully employed by the CSCHN, and
  • Support the mission and objectives of the CSCHN.

The Centre de santé communautaire Hamilton/Niagara (CSCHN) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of the personal information with which it is entrusted. By personal information, we mean any information that identifies you directly, such as your full name, home address, email address or telephone number, as well as any comments you may make regarding the CSCHN.

The personal information we collect from you is used to draw up the official list of CSCHN members. Your name may appear on a list of members with voting rights at the annual general meeting.¹ The CSCHN may also send you information by mail or email to keep you informed of its activities. Rest assured that your personal information, such as your name and address, will not be shared or sold to anyone without your express permission.

We also collect information that cannot be used to identify you personally, such as your age group, in order to better understand the use of our website. ¹Only members in good standing who have been registered with the CSCHN for at least thirty (30) days, or their respective proxies, may propose, support, debate or vote on proposals at the meeting.
