The Board of Directors of the SCCHN adopts written policies and procedures to guide its approach to governance and its relationship with the Executive Board.

It is guided by the Ontario Corporations Act, the Centre’s by-laws and regulations, and ensures that policies and procedures are in place to enable the Centre to carry out its mission.

The Board is made up of ten (10) individual members; five (5) representing the Niagara region and five (5) representing the Hamilton region including Burlington.
